What is blacksmithing?
For six thousand years

mankind has been heating and shaping metal.

When red hot iron is hammered it can be drawn out into long shapes, split, curled, twisted or fused with other pieces. All kinds of decorative and invaluable items can be made.

This traditional craft of blacksmithing has been present throughout history since the early makers of primitive tools and weapons. Its products of forged iron are strong and rugged but can also be very elegant and beautiful.
